City of Duncan PD is the 39th Oklahoma Agency to Deploy digiTICKET eCitation Solution
Tulsa, OK, September 30, 2014 – Saltus Technologies™, provider of the industry-leading digiTICKET® eCitation solution, announced today that the Duncan, Oklahoma Police Department recently deployed digiTICKET to enhance productivity and safety for its patrol officers.
Developed with assistance from Oklahoma police departments, digiTICKET has quickly grown in popularity for its effectiveness in generating cost savings and increasing productivity. The Duncan Police Department is the 3rd largest digiTICKET deployment in the state.
In partnership with Sutterfield Technologies, a Duncan-based provider of municipal court software, Saltus has added the capability for court personnel to easily export ordinance files from the Sutterfield software into digiTICKET over the Internet.
“Our technology partnership with Sutterfield ensures ordinance information is in sync between the courts and the digiTICKET system. That further reduces the chance of errors, which avoids wasted time and lost revenue,” said Eric Fultz, president and CEO of Saltus Technologies.
The Duncan Police Department deployed digiTICKET on all of their patrol vehicle laptops. Under the Saltus digiTICKET Solution as a Service (dSaaS) procurement method, the Duncan Police Department receives equipment, maintenance, and support for a low monthly fee, with no upfront cost.
The City of Duncan is located on the Historic Chisholm Trail, 60 miles east of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Home to the oldest mountain range in North America, the area is best known as the last battleground of Apache Chief Geronimo and for many legends and stories of the American West.
digiTICKET currently has more than 3300 end users in 14 U.S. states, generating over 50,000 eCitations monthly. It has proven to be a key contributing factor in decreasing traffic accidents by more than 10 percent while increasing revenue by reducing errors, improving productivity, and eliminating manual processes.
