The Kansas Dodge City Daily Globe reported that the Dodge City Police Department (DCPD) are speeding up citations with digiTICKET.
Thanks to digiTICKET’s advanced technology, DCPD’s devices contain information specific to Dodge City. DCPD looked at past records and determined a “Top 25” list of violations. Those violations were then added to the top of a drop down menu for easy access.
Another perk involves the scheduling of court dates. Before moving to digiTICKET, court dates were determined by each officer. Now, court dates are staggered by date of citation and officer last name.
Chief of Police Craig Mellecker said, “This is really moving us into the future.”
