Noting Successful Deployments, Additional Agencies Choose the digiTICKET® Solution to Gain Efficiency, Minimize Risks and Share Data
Tulsa, OK, May 3, 2017 – Saltus Technologies™, provider of the industry-leading digiTICKET® eCitation solution, announced today that 25 Illinois agencies are now using digiTICKET. Building on the success of previous deployments, digiTICKET contracts in the state now total over 50 agencies in 9 counties, including Madison, Winnebago, Sangamon, Tazewell, Macon, Montgomery, Fayette, Bond and Adams.
As the first electronic citation approved by Illinois’ Chief Conference of Circuit Judges, digiTICKET is now being used by police and sheriff’s departments across the state. Saltus has developed interfaces to over 45 different records management and court systems across the country, including all major court vendors in Illinois. The export of ticketing data directly to the Circuit Court Clerk and law enforcement systems eliminates redundant data entry and improves overall process efficiencies.
“digiTICKET cuts the time our deputies spend on traffic stops, which is not only more efficient, but also better for public safety,” said Lt. Joe Halbrooks of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. “Plus, the Court has immediate access to ticket data. We’re seeing greater productivity and fewer delays throughout the citation process. digiTICKET eliminates the multiple re-entry of data by clerks at the Sheriff’s Office and clerks at the court house.”
By using an approved electronic ticket, Illinois counties can apply eCitation funds collected under Public Act 096-1210. digiTICKET also enables the capture of Traffic Stop Data required by the Illinois Department of Transportation and will be able to capture Pedestrian Stop data in the coming months. Saltus has developed software and support enhancements specifically for the state of Illinois.
“We’re proud that counties throughout Illinois, are seeing tangible benefits with digiTICKET,” said Eric Fultz, president and CEO of Saltus Technologies. “The flexibility and reliability of our software, coupled with excellent customer support has fueled the growth we’ve seen in Illinois and across the country.”
digiTICKET has developed a reputation as an easy-to-use and reliable solution. Using laptops, tablets or handheld computers, digiTICKET users process over 75,000 citations and warnings each month for over 180 agencies in 17 states. The solution has proven to be a key contributing factor in increasing revenue by reducing errors, improving productivity and eliminating manual processes. Agencies have the choice to either purchase the system or acquire it using the digiTICKET Solution as a Service (dSaaS) procurement option.
