digiTICKET eCitation Solution Will Raise Productivity and Streamline the Entire Ticketing Process
Tulsa, OK, April 28, 2015 – Saltus Technologies™, provider of the industry-leading digiTICKET® eCitation solution, announced today that the Laramie, Wyoming Police Department will deploy digiTICKET to reduce the time officers spend on traffic stops, enable real-time access to police records and quickly export data to court system software.
The digiTICKET solution will be integrated with Laramie’s records management and state court systems, both provided by SunGard. Laramie is the second city in Wyoming to implement digiTICKET, following the City of Casper.
“Saltus responded quickly to our Request for Proposal, and digiTICKET was highly recommended by other departments,” said Dale Stalder, Laramie’s Chief of Police. “The system will cut the time my officers spend on the roadside, give them access to database records and export accurate citation data to the courts. We expect to see fewer bottlenecks at every stage of the process.”
The Laramie Police Department purchased digiTICKET to deploy on 35 laptops in its patrol cars. When an officer writes a ticket, citation information will be sent electronically to the Wyoming Supreme Court repository. The State Supreme Court will contribute matching funds to assist Laramie with the implementation.
Located in Albany County, Laramie is the third-largest city in the state and home to the University of Wyoming.
digiTICKET currently has more than 3500 end users in 15 U.S. states, generating over 50,000 eCitations monthly. It has proven to be a key contributing factor in decreasing traffic accidents by more than 10 percent while increasing revenue by reducing errors, improving productivity, and eliminating manual processes. Agencies have the choice to either purchase the system or acquire it using the digiTICKET Solution as a Service (dSaaS) pricing option.
